Advice: Dont do it. The positives far outweigh the negatives. Don't let the dealership do the work. Go with an independent and have them install Arnott shocks that you buy so you will have the lifetime warranty if still provided. Airmatic is not bad, just budget new shocks/struts every 80k to 100k miles. When you have a lifetime warranty, the costs are not bad if you keep the vehicle for a while. Not to mention, the rear airbags are a very easy DIY. Just don't run around with bad struts since it will eat your compressor.

First thank you very much for the advice.
But I am on my second mercedes with air suspension and its been so frustrating.
I just ordered another pump, the actual one went bad.
I found the maxi fuse 40 blew up I dont know why but I replaced it and the pump still dont work.
The car was siting for a few weeks and I started it and thats when trouble started.
Also, when the car is low (I dont have the sport or comfort options, its up or low) the suspension is very rough and i find that the car is too low.
Is it common for all GL450 (2016) or can I have the dealer adjust the height for it to be a bit higher ?
Thanks again.

You should probably take to someone who has a star system and can run a diagnostic check to see what is going on. These are not difficult to work on so it must be something that is readily fixable.
