Hi all, possibly coming back to the AMG world with a 2014 GL63, it has surround camera and self parking but no blind spot monitoring, will the car have the sensors around the exterior and it just needs mirror change and coding or am i dreaming it will be that simple LOL

Would think that is standard on the GL 63. It's on mine but I'm not sure if that was a check box when ordering or not.

Note that different markets (in this case USA and UK) have different combinations of standard equipment and options.

That said, it does seem like an odd option to be missing on a GL63 with surround cameras.

So I'd suggest that the OP triple check.

FWIW, it's code 234 (BLIND SPOT ASSISTANT) on my 2014 GL.

Hi guys

Ive got the data card from MB for it, it doesnt have it, lane track package was an option here, which added blind spot and lane assistance, or driving assistance package also added distronic cruise, all features became active functions too.

This one has traffic sign recognition and cameras but not blind spot which is a shame
