2013 GL550 - Excessively floaty - last effort to remedy
I have a 2013 GL550 with 61k miles. It just spent the last week and a half at the dealer. Coolant light kept coming on, and the ride quality has become very poor over time. They 'fixed' the coolant light, but the ride quality - found nothing wrong. In comfort, when pulling out of a drive, the vehicle sways back and forth like a boat and the interior panels creak in protest. Uneven roads result in a pulling and swaying feeling, and with any rain, it begins to feel unsafe. There is a general vibration in both the seats and steering wheel at highway speeds. Alignment has been done recently and I have relatively new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S with good life. I switched to Michelin as the stock tires were wearing out too quickly. I'm pretty much at the end of my rope with the vehicle after the numerous other issues it has had unless someone has had a similar issue and can point me in the right direction.
