Check coolant levels message

Hey guys! I have noticed when I get in my car after it’s been sitting for a while when I start it I get a “check coolant levels message”. My coolant is full, does anyone have an idea why this is happening? I can post a pic next time It comes up. Thanks 🙏🏽

I've been having the same issue and last week dropped it off to the dealer MB Natick MA.
Got a call from my SA and he said they cant find any leaks, however noted crustiness around the bottom of the radiator. So off to get that replaced.

i was getting this message as well, when car sat for a couple days. But also smelled the coolant after it was parked. Took it in and there was hose and washer that was replaced by the overflow tank.

i would think that if the coolant is full, then its a bad sensor, they have a habit of going bad. if the fluid is getting low, that is a different issue.

happened to me twice within the last 12 months and each time, in the next 48-72 hours, full blown leak ... 1st time service replaced the return line, 2nd time replaced both lines ...
