I am looking for a Mercedes repair specialist in Queens NY but anywhere near NYC is good. My 14 GL450 has a Airmatic issue and local dealer asking astronomical money to fix it.
AirMatic Malfunction light on and front suspension not rise up. Took car to dealer and was took need both new front air shock, new air block value unit and both side height sensor. Air pump will need to check after the air shock install to see if it need to replace also. Dealer quote price Almost $6,000.

Its 90 minutes from you, but City Auto in Hightstown, Rt 130 and 95, does really good work. Tony runs the shop, I would have him give you another estimate. Very happy with everything that he has done for me.

Most likely just the shocks and pump. You could do that repair yourself for less than $700. If you pay someone, shouldn't be more than $1500 total with parts purchased other than from the dealer.Originally Posted by iisnoopyii
