Aluminum Trim
It seems like the oxidation of the anodized aluminum trim is a common problem and that there is no easy fix. After cleaning some tar off the car with WD40, I tried some on the trim and it brings back the shine. It has been several days and a couple rain storms and it still looks pretty good. Is there any reason not to continue applying this in the future? Is WD40 bad for the trim? I know it should not get on the paid.
Is there any other advice on what may work longer?
