Another Air Suspension Thread
'13 GL 450, 50k miles.

Right rear airbag is leaky. Yeah, I know about replacing the airbag, checking the sensor, etc.

What I'm curious about if there is a kit you can buy that swaps the airbag out for an HD spring.

Is that a thing?

Why? Rear airbags extremely affordable and easy to swap.

I also should have mentioned I'm towing a 6k# trailer.
Compressor is cooling because you have airbag leak. Once that fixed - should not have any issues.

I would be interested in making the ride stiffer. There is so much body roll and it is so "soft", especially considering how quick it is. It would handle so much better with a more firm set up. I wish there was a way to control it with the computer.

For towing and hauling, the air suspension is amazing. Keeps the car level and you in control. Rear airbags are very cheap and super easy to change quickly in your driveway.

Wider wheels with a lower profile makes a huge difference.

2015 GL350 Bluetec
My 2006 ML500 had standard, comfort, and sport mode for the air suspension. I towed in sport mode and it made a huge difference! My GL doesn't have this option and I kind of miss it. Was this an option for the 2015 GL?
