Hi. I have a 2016 GL450 4matic that has about $15,000 in damages to the left front. I am looking for a parts car. All of the car auction sites require registration fees just to bid. Does anyone know where else to search? The least expensive car I found is $14,000. I am hoping to pay less than $6,000. Hoping to find a high milage car with flood damage or rear end damage. I tried eBay and cars.com with no luck.
Also can anyone confirm that the hood, fenders, bumper cover, and headlights are the same for a GL350 and GL450 from 2013 to 2016?

You won't get a whole car, but I've ordered parts from www.car-part.com and had good luck. It's a listing service for wrecking yards.

Ask around is someone knows a guy who knows a guy with copart.com access
Good suggestion. What I have discovered is most wrecked cars have front end damage. The ones with rear end damage are more expensive. The first salvage value that I got on mine was $4,000. Everything that I am seeing online is north of $20K. It just doesn't seem to make sense buying a parts car for my type of damage.

Have you tried www.searchtempest.com? It searches craigslist, but gives you the option to search by distance from your zip code.

I would suggest Copart. I understand there is a few but it is still cheaper than buying individual parts.
