My mechanic was helping me change out my air filters and he didn't want to touch the right driver side filter because he said this part is a little broken and he feared he might break it completely. I want to change it out, but I don't know what it is. Can someone help me identify it? I can only assume it's some air sensor.
This is the air sensor. You are supposed to squeeze that ring that is broken on one side on yours and pull it straight out. You may be able to compensate by prying on the tab that squeezing the ring would normally push out.
