GL350 Airmatic

Can the Airmatic be lowered in any way to allow for easier access? A friend gave his GL350 to his parents. It's difficult for his mom to get in. (They are in their 80's.) Carrying a stool everywhere isn't convenient. On a Land Rover, you push the access button. My 90 Y/O aunt could get in my Range Rover with ease. Thanks.

Not really (assuming the suspension is not raised to its lifted position). But adding a set of running boards will greatly help boarding for an elderly person.

There is a module that you can plug into your OBD port that will adjust the ride height.
Here's Here's
one I found on Amazon. I've never used it, but there was a thread a few months back about them. You should be able to search for it.

You can lower the car by lowering links, plugging a lowering module to the Airmatic control unit or like the OBD module in the link above.

Good luck
