PO12800 error code

Have a 2015 GL 550 with check engine light on. Error code was PO128000. Changed out the thermostat, which was trashed and leaking, but check engine light is still on. Maybe the coolant temp sensor. Does anyone know 1) how to reset engine light (if cleared the code) and or 2) where the coolant temp sensor is located?
Any help is much appreciated.

Coolant temp sensor is in the back of the driver side cylinder head below vacuum pump. To reach it most likely you will have to take exhaust pipe off. http://benz.ehost.tj/231/webetm/webe...ces/B11_4.html
