i only interested in remote lock/unlock, dont really care about remote engine start.
do i still need to put a spare key in the car for lock/unlock? dont care about remote start.
what about do i still need to solder a wire to the mercedes board for lock/unlock? dont care about remote start.
i have 2016 C450 AMG.

yeah. the Mercedes Me app can do that but the 5 years trial expired. 199$ a year and Verizon going to shut down 3G service which Mercedes Me use at end of 2022. also Mercedes Me app doesn't show car status like door open/closed, engine on/off. that's why i kinda interested in MidEngine starter.
