I talked to someone from mercedesme yesterday. She said I have complimentary services available but I need a software update first. She said just take it in to your local dealer and they should do it free of charge. Is this my only option? Can I download somewhere and do myself? My local dealer is kind of a pain in the *** to deal with.

 

I just went through this with my 2015 GL I recently picked up. The issue is the GPS needs to be updated, the dealer has to do it and it cost $200. The MercedesMe people told me the same thing, and I was charged. My car was a CPO and they tried to get Mercedes to pick it up it was denied. I went back to the selling dealer and they reimbursed me.
