Remove "40" Side of Second Row?

Hope everyone is having a great day.

I'm driving myself crazy looking for this -- but how does one remove the "40" side of the second row? Or is it not removable?

I know I'll probably have to have the SRS light reset at the dealer, but this would do wonders for accessibility.

Anyone done this? If so, any pictures?

Thank you!

It’s not designed to be removable.

But yes, in theory, you can probably remove bunch of bolts and take it all apart. I’m gonna assume you’ll also expose all sorts of stuff that was never intended to be viewed (or accessible) so the appearance and usability may not be what one would desire, either.

I removed the second row of seats when I installed all the wiring for a factory hitch. We drove it around a little with them out. My family thought it was like having a limo with all the open space. There are some covers on the front of the seat bracket that pull off. Then you can see the bolts. You'll need the E series external torx sockets and/or wrenches. I think I got them with my sockets, but I have wrenches also and I don't remember for sure which I used. There is an electrical connector that needs to be unhooked also. I got a message that the seats weren't locked into place (or something like that), but that's it. After I put it all back together everything worked. No trip to the dealer required.
