2015 Mercedes GL63
Gl63 wheel spacers
I feel like the GL63 needs the wheels to expand about 1” outwards. Has anyone used wheel spacers, and if so, which ones?

Many have installed spacers, specifically H&R spacers. However, IMO 25mm spacers on GL63 will push tires well passed fenders, so I think 10-12mm is ideal with 15mm being the max. Do not forget appropriate length longer R14 seat bolts.

2015 Mercedes GL63
Just installed 1/4” spacers I planned to use for my gl550. It’s about right now. Still looks stock, but doesn’t have the noticeable wheel well gap anymore.

Flat spacers (those less than 10mm) are not safe to use on these SUVs because there is no hub lip left to seat the wheel on. This means that wheels' weight is supported by lug bolts, instead of the hubs.
