it seems that one of the cables that run to the rear Sam unit (yellow and black) got damaged.
The dealership told me that this is the root cause as to why my electronic parking brakes are failing.
I don’t know how this cable got damaged this way, but recently my brother helped me install the towing wiring harness all the way from the back to the front of the car with everything connected properly and after that is when the electronic parking light turned on.
Based on the pictures I took it seems that yellow black cable connects to the rear Sam unit (blue connector)
i don’t know what pin on the blue connector the cable is connected to but on the picture it seems it is connected to one of the bottom pins.
can someone please tell me what function does this cable has ?
does it control the parking brakes somehow ?
