Several months ago, (165,00 miles roughly) turbo went out. I replaced the turbo, EGR valve, turbo intake hoses, fuel filter, and did the solenoid bypass for the "flapper valve(?!)". The vehicle ran well for about three weeks, then went in to limp mode, with severe engine stuttering/bucking. It was so bad that I thought the tranny was going out, so I got a transmission flush at the shop. That didn't help at all. It then threw a code for the mass airflow sensor, so I ordered and installed a new one. It ran halfway decent for a few days with minor stuttering, then threw another code for the EGR valve which had just been replaced. I pulled that, and it was absolutely caked/crusted in carbon buildup. Ordered and installed a new EGR valve and the vehicle went straight in to limp mode. At this point I'm thinking, ok, it has to be something in the fuel line. Something is happening with the fuel mix, right? Right?!?! Fuel pump maybe? I decided to pop open the fuse box to anything associated with the fuel line. The fuse for the fuel pump (in the fuse box in the engine) is straight up MISSING. Not there. I pop a new one in, and the car drove like a dream for a week. Took it on a small road trip, figuring it was now good to go. Day two of the trip, I start the car, and as soon as it turns over, it shuts off. Over and over again. ****. Fuel pump? A few days later (after a VERY elaborate public transit trip home), I return to where the car is parked to tow it home on a car hauler. Try to start it, and the same thing happens- turns over, starts to idle, and dies immediately (as was expected). Get it home, turn it on to pop it in neutral to unload from the trailer, and its starts just fine. I backed it off the trailer under its own power.

What the hell is going on with this car? I'm so done with it. I'm hoping to diagnose and fix it, get it running, and sell it for whatever price I can. Help please!
