MB GL450

2015 GL450 - no engine brake?

My GL450 doesn't slow down when I get off the accelerator - it actually feels like it went faster - so you end up using the brakes more often.

Anyone else have this problem?

Has anyone driven their car on Mt Washington Auto Road? I'm thinking this car can't possibly be safe going down from the top.

Helpful hint: use the paddles (on the steering wheel) to manually select a desired gear. The truck will do just fine. You can select higher and lower gears with the paddles and reselect D anytime with the shifter.

Like lots of newer vehicles, these trucks will normally 'coast' for fuel efficiency.
