GL550
2015 GL550 Headlight upgrade
Good Day to all,

currently own a 2015 MB GL550 and would like to upgrade the Headlight system in it. It has the Bi Xenon system with 6000K DS1 bulbs; it does illuminate very well, but not to the Brightness and looks of the 2017-2018 GLS Headlights. Could it be possible to upgrade the whole headlight assembly to one of the newer model? or is there an aftermarket headlight manufacture that has a newer design for this GL550?

All opinions and tricks are welcome.

E55, GLS450, GL63, GLE350
Get new bulbs and see if that makes a difference. I don't notice much of a difference between the HID and the LED system in the later GLE/GLS models.
