Hi to everyone,
I have just recently purchased a 2015 gl350. I have gone through and searched the forum for info on wiper arms but have really not found much so I have started this thread in hopes of someone having the knowledge to help me out. There is one issue that I have that I have not been able to find addressed in this form. Does anyone know what the resting position of the windshield wipers should be? Mine seem to be slightly up from horizontal and I think this may be causing the issue I have. When I use the wipers the passenger side wiper seems to have an excessively long stroke. It seems to come quite a ways into the drivers side of the windshield and at maximum stroke it thumps which to me means its almost going to far before it reverses direction. I am considering trying to take the arm off and readjusting the position more horizontally but am not quite sure about how the attached secondary arm works. Would I have to disconnect both arms or just the main arm to reposition the blade?
