Diesel exhaust system upgrade and parts covered
I had an AEM upgrade as part of the lawsuit settlement…after 5000 miles the car had a check engine light with going into limp mode after the very restart…I took it to the dealer and here are the issues they sent me so far::
Tech found 3 different issues happening with your vehicle. They are still diagnosing it and checking to see if all or parts of it are covered under the warranty extension. Boost pressure lose is due to a bad charge air hose, there is also a broken egr pipe and then also the timing chain rattle. I'll know more tomorrow on the warranty coverage and get back to you. Thanks
And then I asked what are codes and he sent me this:
"16DA00 THE POSITIVE CONTROL DEVIATION DURING BOOST PRESSURE CONTROL IS TOO HIGH" and "150300 THE UPPER LIMIT VALUE OF COMPONENT HOT FILM MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR HAS BEEN EXCEEDED"
He has to send me more details later…. Meanwhile, does anyone got these codes repaired…what could be estimated damage bill to me…
