Panoramic Sunroof Woes.

Hello all. I have a 14 GL450 with a panoramic sunroof. Sunday we had it open and went to close it after our drive. The roof moved only a half inch or so then reverted back to fully open position. I checked the module for faults (none), the motors for movement (they move), and the slides for debris (none). As I was attempting to manually close it, the glass seemed to bind, which caused it to stop moving forward. After observing all the stability points for the glass, I found that the left rear 'leg' was lower than the right side. I lifted up on the glass slightly and was able to get some more movement out of the manual closing operation of the sunroof. I had to do this a few more times to get it to close all the way. Then, because I like to tempt fate, I tried opening it with the switch again. It opened partially and got stuck. Needless to say, I got yelled at by the wife for that little action, but I wanted to see if it would open fully, and knowing that I would be able to close it again, I figured what the hell.... I guess now my question is, does anyone out there have sunroof parts diagrams that I could check out without having to go to the dealership and bug them? Also, if anyone has experience with this type of situation, I would love a little bit of insight. Being a technician for Porsche, I know I can take care of this, but I want to be able to get some diagrams/ procedures to research this before tearing into it.
Thanks in advance.

I have not had issues with the sunroof so can't comment much but check this link which will give you a parts diagram: https://www.mboemparts.com/v-2014-me.../body--sunroof

It appears that number 15 on the panoramic diagram is most likely the issue. Now the trick is figuring out how to take it all apart to fix it.... I have plenty of experience with Porsche panoramic sunroof repairs, so it shouldn't be that bad, just more of where to store the vehicle so nothing gets inside the vehicle while the sunroof is out. Man, it would be nice to obtain some repair instructions on that, but if not, I'm sure I can figure it out. Also, I have an extended warranty, so I may just let Mercedes deal with it....

If you have an extended warranty, why mess with this - if you run into an unsolveable issue, and the dealer determines that you've been messing with it yourself, I'd be concerned that they likely call "foul" and decline the coverage.
