Cam Sensor Isolation Wire
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the leaking through the sensor, while irritating, isn't the big problem. The problem is what it does to the ECM. If you have minor leaking the isolation wire should be all you need?
Oil insulates the signal between sensor and ECU and can create intermittent contact. Intermittent contact can create an error in the ECU resulting in misfire and CEL. Over enough time and enough oil in the harness, other pins at the ECU end could become contaminated, beyond the offending leak source which are the cam position sensors and, apparently to a smaller degree, the cam magnets.
