Seat belt keeps locking up when pulling out
2015 GL350 Bluetec with 96k miles. The driver seatbelt retractor seems to be out of calibration. When I pull the seat belt out it keeps locking up randomly no matter how slow I pull it. Then I guide it back a little bit and then there's some chance I can pull past that "locked" point and then I might meet with another lock point... back and forth that would spend me ~1-2 minutes to buckle myself up which used to be just 3 seconds. Is there anything else I can do other than replacing the seatbelt retractor (~seems to be a $700+ item from dealer, or $200+ used from ebay that I'm not sure if it works)?
