2014 GL350: Can anyone help me troubleshoot for an obvious cause?

The passenger front seat adjusters are no longer working nor does the seat move when you drop the second row.

I have checked the two fuses and both seem OK (although I will replace them just the same).

Is there another obvious place to look for a cause, or should I start tracing wiring?

Look for signs of water under the carpet in the front floor area.

What are the potential causes in your mind? Recent collision? Windows left open during a rain event? Electrical mods on the vehicle?

How old are the batteries? When exactly were they last replaced?

No rain or moisture issues, so no clue on my end as to a cause. Nothing unusual at all has happened to the vehicle.

The battery is 3 years old but seems OK, and the driver's side is working just fine.

Postscript to the story: got out my meter, my tools, all set to disassemble the door card and seat to test everything. But when I looked I found a connector under the seat had been knocked loose. Problem solved!
