M276 Jumped Timing?

Just bought a 15 GL450 non running. Has the M276 3.0 Turbo. Previous owner said jumped timing. Had no fault codes but cranks fine but barely runs extremely rough and only runs while holding accelerator pedal for about 5 sec and dies. Live data on my maxisys scanner showed very high fuel pressure (1200-1700 bar). Not much else alarming. Pulled valve and timing covers and found intake right bank cam adjuster skipping. Could this be the cause of all of this and could it have jumped time and bent valves? Planning on replacing adjuster and tensioners next week but dont want to do it all for nothing and the engine be shot. Any ideas

thanks
