GL350 Bluetec Auxiliary battery malfunction

GL350 Bluetec
GL350 Bluetec Auxiliary battery malfunction
The auxiliary battery malfunction warning came on. Checked for the location of the auxiliary battery, right rear compartment, under seat location, and no battery. The GL350 does not have a lot of electronics. Could the battery have yet a different location. I have a feeling it would be a much smaller battery. Anyone experience this anomaly? Thanks.

I replaced mine last year without problems, right rear area. I believe I followed a YouTube video to assist.

2015, And there is no circuitry at either known location for the battery. One is in the battery compartment, other is right rear compartment. In the battery box under the seat there is some interesting circuitry where the battery would be located. Very strange.

Should be in the right rear. You can access via the spare tire wheel well.

Checked there too. No battery, no wire harness, Nothing. Do you think it could be in the right side of the dash?
