Soft close doors
2013 Gl450 140k miles bought in 2021 with 90kmiles.
Left and Right rear soft close doors do not work. In fact it seems to be the opposite. When I open the doors, you can hear the motor whirring, which is definitely not correct. The front doors work as expected. If anything, the noise is definitely louder than my 2015 x5 when it soft closes.
So my question is, do I need the soft close latch or the soft close actuator, or both? Looking at parts on eBay there are both available and I’m not entirely sure how the parts interact with each other.
