Oil leak from the engine front cylinder head covers.
2013 w/80K miles. GL450.
I took the car in for a steering wheel recall work, and was told that there is an oil leak from the engine front ylinder head covers. This needs to be resealed.
How common is this problem and what is the reasonable estimate for this repair?

If they mean timing covers - then yes, oil leak there is common with m278 engine. Sorry, can't tell you what the reasonable cost would be because mine were done together with many other things - turbo coolant lines, thermostat, water pump etc, so they had easy access.
