Recovery points
Hi all,
Looking to add some ready to roll recovery points on the MB X166. Anyone done this, got any recommendations for points or mounting places for something like this?: https://www.kaon.com.au/recovery/recovery-tow-points
Front and back?

Do you want something more than the standard recovery screw-in hook that already exists in your tool kit? Or at least it SHOULD exist. Mine was missing when I bought my GL450 used, so I bought one off Ebay. I suppose you could buy an extra one so you have two and leave them screwed in all the time. Or you could just install them when you go off-roading maybe?

The screw sockets under the bumpers are nice but having options of pull vectors is a real advantage sometimes. Being able to pull from multiple points can pull the car in different ways and that can come in handy. I'll be watching this thread...
