GL450
GL 450 engine
I want to ask a question. I am not sure if this is right place to ask.
The question is, why will the engine for a CLK 550 fit into a GL 450?

2014 GL450, 1992 W140 300SD, 1993 W140 300SE, 1987 E30 Convertible
Depends on the year of GL 450. Before 2015 there weren't 4.5 liter displacement equivalent so MB stuck m278 engine with 4.7 liter displacement into GL450. Same engine is used in all 550 models.
