IMHO, save the $$$ and get something less expensive. For example, I’ve been running in my GL for the past couple years. There’s also been a couple threads dealing with the install on the GL.

There are a ton of various “brands” selling these things online, and most are re-brands of the same hardware.

This is not a surprise because it’s not like there’s there’s a plethora of top tier engineering groups working on these low margin boxes.

I don't think it is necessary to buy it, it is too expensive. I chose the Carlinkitlife price is only $300. The CarPlay module received is the same no difference. At least the functions are all the same, but the shell is different.
