Front passenger lower
Just opened the door to our 2013 GL350 with 99k miles. Immediately heard a loud hissing noise and front passenger side went down. The three other corners are good. I am assuming, of course, it has to do with the air bags. What should I look at first, or any ideas how to diagnose exact issue? Strange that it happened exactly as I opened the door. The trick
was off and had been sitting about 3 hours since last driven. No issue when driven and corner did not sag before.
thx

I just replaced mine, both sides, its a little involved but very do-able with a little patience and basic hand tools.
Went to RockAuto for the shocks, best price I found for Arnott shocks plus a Lifetime Warranty. Passenger side was easier than the drivers side, had to use a Floor Jack handle to pry the lower control arm low enough for the shock to go over the CV Axle. But it's done, changed the brakes while I was there.

No, not on either side.
I installed the Passenger side first with the shock on aft side of the spindle, I pushed down on the Spindle/Rotor and moved the shock mounting arms forward and over the axle and bolted everything up.
The Drivers side was a bit tougher, I installed the shock with it on the forward side of the spindle and used the Jack Handle on my Floor Jack to wedge in between the shock mounting arms and the lower control arm and lifting up, then pushing down on the spindle and moved it in to place and bolted everything up.
I had help from my neighbor on the Drivers side, he pushed down while I pried up.
