Transfer case blues, anybody buy from this ebay seller?
Transfer case is shot at 100K miles on my 2014 X166.
Classic symptom - car makes a hammering sound when under heavy acceleration, especially in first gear.
I am going to drop the case and hopefully it is only the chain. Chains are relatively cheap, but I want to have a complete set of spares on hand in case of any nasty surprises. When I tapped some fluid out, the liquid was pretty nasty.
There is a seller on ebay with what looks like a complete service kit. The seller is in Estonia but seems to have good feedback. No idea who makes this, but I've reached out the seller to ask.
Just wondering if anyone has ordered this kit, and any feedback?
