Panoramic Roof Noise
I have a GL63 w/ Pano roof and it makes a horrible - nails on a chalk board noise in both opening and closing and I can see the roof shuttering a little bit. I have spent a lot time trying to figure this out with no luck. I used the official Mercedes lubricants and followed the directions in the Mercedes WIS with zero improvement.
Okay the sound could be described as un-lubricated rubber being drug against metal - it starts as soon as the roof starts and continues the entire way. I also think I can smell almost like a burning rubber and it sounds like its coming from the front of the roof - vs the guides in the back.
Has anyone else had this issue and solved it?
