Puzzling left front Air Strut
Puzzling Left Front airmatic?Hey Team,
Gl63 with supposed airmatic replacement pre-purchase.
Symptoms:
- Left Front was about 1.5" lower than the RF, this remains constant while in terrain mode, or any other for that matter
- Now squeaks over bumper on the LF
- Mushy front suspension
- Strut compresses easily upward while on jack stands and using a prybar to push the wheel up (other side doesn't budge)
Confusers:
- No airmatic shop light is on
- Checked sensor linkage for installation error, does not appear so
- Car remains at that height
Any thoughts? Mechanic thinks its normal...
