Ventilated Seat: Turn on, then turns off 5 sec later
Today I noticed that on front passenger side of my '13 GL550 the ventilated seat button, when turned on initially, will turn off by itself within 5 seconds. During that 5 seconds I can hear the fan spin up sometimes, and other times it doesn't seem to spin up.
Any ideas what the cause of this automatic premature deactivation of the ventilated seats?
Not sure if this is related, but I also later noticed that the seat massage function is also not working... going to check on the air pump for this that, but don't think the pump is related to the ventilated seats.
Please let me know if you figure this out. The passenger side in my 2015 gl350 is working fine. The drivers side will work for a minute or two then have the same issues you described. I can't see any obvious leaks or holes. I am wondering if the pictured part may be going bad.
