2013 GL350/OM642 Oil Cooler Torques?
Turns out when it was done last one of the torx bolts holding the turbo pedastal is/was stripped. I just discovered this, and will be drilling it out...and the trying to reverse tap it.
Anyhow, the real reason for this post is I'm trying to find the torque specs on the exhaust manifold (or any other bolts I need to pay attention to.)
Does anyone know/have these values? I have some kind of chinese laptop with mbstar on it, and rumor is one of those apps has the factory service data; but I'm unable to locate it. If anyone knows the app and how to find that stuff that would be appreciated as well.
Other helpful questions:
- I had *thought* there was a step by step howto on doing this - but I can't find it (anyone have a link?) I found the timing chain one, but not the oil cooler seal one. Youtube videos are helpful, but only get you so far.
- When tying off the swirl flaps and adding in the resister, is anything else needed to prevent the CEL from coming on?
I'm debating an ECU tune/EGR/SCR/DPF delete - haven't made a decision yet but...
- I'm trying to find information on shutting off the EGR as well. I had thought there was an emulator you could plug in in place of the EGR to disable it without a ECU flash. Anyone know where that is?
- I contacted 4dpf.com about a SCR/DPF emulator, but they don't have one for the OM642
So if I wanted to do something with SCR/DPF I would need a flash. If someone hollows out or removes the DPF does something also need to be done to the exhaust to remove/delete SCR, or is pulling the fuse enough for that? Thanks in advance.
