Driveshaft help

well, I changed my transfer case chain and that went pretty well and smooth but now I’ve got a little bit of a roaring sound when I’m on the accelerator. I’ve isolated that the noise is not coming from the engine. And it also just started after I changed out that chain. when I was putting everything back together, I noticed that it felt like my driveshaft was a little tight. And what I mean is that I don’t have any play or slop in and out at the CV that bolts to the transfer case. Is there supposed to be some give at that connection? My thought is that maybe I’m pressing on the bearing and it’s creating that noise….

I don’t recall, but it wasn’t much basically a little bit more than snug. It’s an aluminum case so you have to be very careful to not strip those threads.
