13 GL450 Ac works only when vehicle is stopped
Changed out compressor with new one, no leaks, added Freon. Ac works great while vehicle parked or at a red light. While driving ac compressor does not engage. Ac compressor engages only while engine fan, parked or at a red light or vehicle stopped.
Any helpful information? Suggestions

First thing I would do is hook up some AC gauges to check the pressure. I have to look it up on this vehicle, but most vehicles have an overpressure function to turn off the compressor if the pressure is too high. If you just added refrigerant (freon is for your refrigerator 
) you may have too much pressure in there. Proper procedure is to evacuate the system and add the specified amount of refrigerant back in based on ambient temp and elevation.

2013 GL350, 2002 ML320, 1995 E300D, 1983 E300TD-D
My 2013 gl350 calls for 1400 grams +- 10g (49 oz). Just did mine and the center vents are blowing 37 degrees F except at idle and it only goes up to around 42-43f. It has rear A/C. Have no clue what’s going on with yours not working at anything above an idle.
