OP, the calipers of GL550 and GL450(without code P31) are different P/Ns.
The GL550 (all 550s are equipped with 375x36 front rotors) front Calipers P/Ns are as follows:
LEFT p/n 166-421-03-81 (166421038128) and requires 375mm rotors
RIGHT p/n 166-421-04-81 (166421048128) and requires 375mm rotors
and the Brake Carriers(Brackets) p/n 166-421-02-06 (1664211200) for both left&right sides.
GL450s without code P31 (I assume this is what you have hence desire to upgrade) use 350x32 rotors with different calipers.
