Delete rear seat TV screens

2014 GL450

The rear screens are mounted to the head rest posts. Both screens are broken, and now with ipads and wifi we don't use them anyway. I want to remove the screens completely. They flop around and make noise. Anyone have advice on the procedure? Removing the seat backs, removing the mounting rings from the head rest posts, etc.

What color interior do you have? I have a gray leather set (don't have color name to hand) of headrests sitting around. Then you should just be able to remove the old head rests and put new ones in?

If you want a clean car after that you'd better disconnect the rear entertainment module too and code the whole option out
