Airmatic sompressor is dying. Replacement suggestions?
My Airmatic Compressor was replaced when I first got the vehicle at 58K and that pump (cheap?) then got replaced under its 1 year part warranty.
surprise, surprise its going out again about 1 year after that... It is making a horrible noise when it comes on.
Can anyone recommend a good lasting compressor? I usually shop rockauto and pick the "better" part but there are only 5 choices with no ratings.
The car does not lower down at all after sitting for 3 days, so I believe the compressor is just not able to keep up with the cars normal day to day driving. I do drive it pretty aggressive with stops and accelerations, plus a lot of high speed to low speed transitions (they do lower at high speed, right?)
I appreciate it!

I'd go with Bilstein. Something is killing the pump so there is probably a leak. I could leave my airmatic equipped vehicle sitting for months and there would be no drop.
