Liftgate Control Unit
I replaced the battery in my 2014 GL450 and everything worked for a little bit. After a few days, the liftgate stopped opening/closing with button/automatically. It manually works, opens and closes and locks. I thought I shorted the Liftgate Control Unit, so I replaced A1669003513. It AGAIN worked for a few days and then stopped working. I was thinking it was a code that needed to be cleared. I took it to a repair shop that tried to clear the code (yes it was throwing off code for Liftgate Control Unit) but they were unable to. They said I needed to take to a dealer to get newer software but that did not make sense to me. I am wondering if there is a SIMPLE fix. I have watched YouTube videos and have tried the key reprogram but it did not work. Any feedback. Thank you in advance.
