2014 gl63 amg 80,000 miles what to check mechanically
I am buying a second owner gl63 amg with 80,000 miles regular service intervals no major mechanical issues. The engine has a light ticking at idle is that normal? There are no leaks under the vehicle and runs excellent. Short video attached of engine idling thoughts?
will the mechanic shop do that for how much and only cylinder 5 as it’s the most problematic? Is this common to check and how often how many miles do you check it?

Have no idea the cost but certainly it is cheaper than a new engine. I would have them scope all the cylinders but that's just me. It's a huge gamble if it is scored. Maybe someone else will chime in on cost or if it is worth it to scope all of them.

That sounded like a death rattle. I would skip this especially when you have a check engine light going in and out. New engine is +$25k mind you.
