Driver side seat module qiestions
Sorry I am cross posting from the GLS x166 forum because I know a most of the systems on the GL and the facelift GLS are the same. Does anyone know if the driver and passenger modules are interchangeable? Over the winter my driver module would disable itself if I used the seat heater, and I would get the clicking relay sound. I figured I had the short on the wiring in the seat that has been highly documented. I pulled the plugs on the module and let sit overnight and it would reset itself. So I just didn't use the seat heater just the ventilator and all has been fine. Recently I had to valet my car, there were no other options, and when I got back in they had adjusted the seat, and it was no longer operational, and had the relay clicks. I pulled codes and it has a bunch. Here is one:

The power supply for the seat control system has a malfunction. The limit value for electrical voltage has not been attained.

So for troubleshooting I wanted to see if I can just swap the passenger side over temporarily to test?
Thoughts ?
