2015 GL350 Long Crank?
Recently I've been having an intermittent long crank when I start the car. Most of the time when I press the button to start it it will start right up on the first crank. Occasionally it will take several cranks 5-10, it's a noticeably longer crank time before it starts. Today it took much longer than usual, more than 10 cranks before it started. So far it has always started even when it cranks longer but I was curious if this is common or if this is an issue I need to get looked at. This is our road trip truck and I usually tow a trailer so I don't want to get stranded away from home.
I mentioned it to my mechanic before and he replaced the fuel filter and the crank position sensor a couple months ago but it still happens. Another thing to note is it has not thrown any codes or CEL. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, send them my way!

I had the exact same problem. Was the hall effect sensor. It’s on the passengers side valve cover easy to change & shows no codes when it goes out. Not an expensive part and if it tells you how often they go out my dealership guy had 2 in stock.
