road trip

Took a road trip last weekend and I thought I'd share my trip information. We drove 210 miles one way, took us three hours and twenty minutes an average speed of 62mph at 16 mpg. I thought this was pretty good considering how heavy the truck is and how heavy my right foot is. What do you guys think?

That's pretty good. When I go on road trips in the 07 R63 (with NA 6.2 V8) I calculate it at the pump and get 17mpg all freeway driving.

Not bad on the time or the MPG.

Ok, are you ready for this? Took another road trip this past weekend and we covered approximately 300 miles one way took us a little over 5 hours clocked in at 55 miles per hour average speed and 17.6 miles per gallon. same passengers same luggage just different direction and I was using the Distronic plus most of the time.

Just curious how do you drive an AMG so slow? If worried about MPG why did you get it?

Lmao, how do you know how fast I'm driving? Not worried about mpg at all, just making a statement that an SUV with over 600hp isn't that bad on fuel consumption.
