Is there supposed to be a noticeable kick down resistance in the GL63 accelerator, as there is in other Mercedes?

What do you mean specifically?
On other Mercedes I have noticed when you push the accelerator to the floor there is a slight resistance or bump beginning about an inch from the floor, after which the transmission downshifts and the engine rapidly accelerates. That is what I have been told is called "kick down." I do not notice that on my GL63.
I have asked this question before, but no one responded with a definitive answer. Have any of you noticed the presence of a "kick down" switch under the accelerator pedal as there is under other Mercedes? The kick down switch triggers an immediate throttle response and downshift of the transmission when you press the accelerator to the floor. All my prior Mercedes have had this feature. In my current 2015 GL 63 there does not appear to be a switch under the accelerator or any resistance when I press the pedal to the floor.
