Car wobbles/ pulsates
I have a 2018 GLS63 bought in September 2018. Replaced all 4 tires with OEM P-Zero’s last week at 16.5k as rears were worn. I flashed the Renntech suspension lowering module several months ago at about 8k Miles. It continued to drive great as before and I really like the 1 inch Renntech drop.
After mounting the new tires, the car developed a wobble from 50-65 mph and was really uncomfortable above 70. I took it back to the shop to balance the tires once again and to a different shop a few days later to do the same.
I got the tires from Tire Rack and they sent me this morning to get a tire road force test and it seemed only one tire failed. Long story short (and after much frustration with Tire Rack) I put 4 new tires on this afternoon at Discount Tire. The problem is better but still persists. My Indy shop wonders whether I have a bent wheel (can mounting a tire on a Hunter machine bend a wheel?).
i have an appointment next week with MB for service B and to try and resolve it. I’ve only replaced the rear pads 5k miles ago...any thoughts on what the issue might be? Problem is still there whether lowered or not.
ugh.
